Sun Ra and his Arkestra, whether consciously or unconsciously, there is probably no music in this world that has not been influenced by them. This is a valuable live recording from Sun Ra's last visit to Japan with his Arkestra on August 8, 1988, at Shinjuku Pit Inn. The songs included are re-selected only for the cassette tape and were produced in a limited run of 300 copies, with no DL code, made in Japan. They are all amazing and exciting! 1988年の8月8日、現在もアーケストラを引き継ぐマーシャル・アレンらと共にサン・ラが生前に行った、最初で最後の来日公演の様子を当レーベルよりカセットテープとしてリリースします。収録曲はこの時に即興で演奏された「Tokyo Dance Blues」などを含む全8トラック。とてもパワフルで革新的、生の熱狂と興奮に満ちたサン・ラ・アーケストラの音楽は、ジャズに触れたことがないような方にも是非お手に取って聴いて欲しい一本となってます！
